The idea of the Safe area is that you keep all important information like names, addresses, phone numbers, critical text or artwork within the safe margin, so that it does not get chopped off during the cutting process.
The safe area is usually 1/8th inch (0.125") from the finish edge on the paper. If you are using our templates we have guidelines which are marked as Safe Area.
