Tips For Your Outdoor Banner

An outdoor banner is a great way to advertise for your company, an upcoming event, or simply get your message across in a big way!

There are a few things to take into consideration when placing your order for an Outdoor Banner

If you are planning on placing the banner outdoors, spanning across a street or walkway without a solid surface behind it, you will need to get the edges of the banner hemmed and reinforced. This will make the banner more rigid and durable to withstand the elements. If your banner is over 3 feet long, you should also get the grommet holes every two feet, along the length of the banner to prevent any sagging in the middle and also to make sure it is equally supported.

The next thing you want to do is to create "Wind Slits" on the face of the banner. You can use a razor blade to create half circle slits to allow wind to pass through the banner, preventing stress on the grommets holes and avoiding tearing the material. Take a medium sized coffee can or something similar and use it as a template, and cut halfway around it.  Unfortunately, this service is not offered by Print Papa and will need to be done on the customers end. It is suggested to provide Wind Slits every 2 feet on the face of the banner.
