2c - How to Convert an Active Drop Shadow to Spot Colors in Adobe Illustrator?
Step 1: Verify the spot color needed is already a swatch, if not create a spot color in the Swatches Pallet.
Step 2: Select the object or sub-group containing the Drop Shadow.
Step 3: Select the Drop Shadow under the APPEARANCE pallet.
Step 4: Select the COLOR box on the Drop Shadow pallet.
Step 5: Select the COLOR SWATCHES button.
Step 6: Select the correct SPOT COLOR from the Color Swatches list.
