How to set up artwork for a double-sided banner with pole pockets?
Step 1: To set up the artwork for the double-sided pole pocket banner, first check the pocket size (2"/3"/4")* that the customer has ordered.
In the example below, there is a banner with 2-inch pole pockets at the top and bottom. The front has a solid background and the back side has a pattern.
Step 2: Extend 2” +1” = 3” of the artboard to the TOP and BOTTOM to create the back side of the pocket.
Step 3: Take the 3-inch background graphics from the backside. Rotate the background by 180 degrees and paste it to the front side. Refer to the image below.
For a 2" Pole pocket => Extend 3" art board on the front and paste 3" of background from the back side by rotating 180 degrees
For a 3" Pole pocket => Extend 4" art board on the front and paste 4" of background from the back side by rotating 180 degrees
For a 4" Pole pocket => Extend 5" art board on the front and paste 5" of background from the back side by rotating 180 degrees
