DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a garment decoration method in which the design is printed directly onto a special PET film. Adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink. The film is heat-pressed onto fabric. The film is peeled away, leaving the ink bonded to the garment. Unlike DTG, DTF does not print directly on the shirt.
DTF works on almost any fabric type:
Cotton
Polyester
Cotton/poly blends
Nylon
Light or dark garments
This makes DTF more versatile than DTG.
